Turkish language courses

Most Chinese-speaking learners studying 1 hour a day reach A2 (basic conversational) in 3 to 4 months, B1 (intermediate) in 6 to 8 months, and B2 (upper-intermediate, the TÖMER threshold for Turkish universities) in 8 to 12 months. Turkish is actually easier for Mandarin speakers than English in many ways: subject-object-verb word order matches Chinese, pronunciation is one-letter-one-sound, there are no noun genders, and verb conjugations are perfectly regular through suffix agglutination.

TÖMER (Türkçe ve Yabancı Dil Öğretim Merkezi) is the official Turkish language-proficiency exam run by major Turkish universities. It tests listening, reading, writing, and speaking at CEFR levels A1 through C2. B2 (60+ score) is required for entry to Turkish public universities and for many work-permit categories. The exam runs monthly at major centres in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir. The exam fee is approximately USD 100. Our intensive B2 prep program covers past-paper drills and section-by-section strategy.

It is a 1-year student-category visa for foreign nationals enrolled at an accredited Turkish language school. Process: (1) we issue an official invitation letter from a partner school; (2) you apply for the language-course visa at the Turkish consulate in your country; (3) you fly to Turkey and we enroll you in the program; (4) you obtain a 1-year student residence permit. The visa can be extended by 1 additional year for university-entrance exam (YÖS) preparation.

For our standard 1-year language-course package, the all-in cost is approximately USD 1,200 to 1,500. This covers: pre-registration and invitation letter, 1 year of tuition, private health insurance, student residence permit and government fees, and full application service by a registered immigration lawyer. Accommodation and travel are not included. We provide a written cost breakdown before enrollment. The invitation-letter fee is non-refundable regardless of the visa outcome.

The Turkish Language Course Visa requires applicants to be 18 or older. For minors, we offer: (a) private 1-on-1 tutoring at a parent's home or our office in Istanbul; (b) family residence permit for children whose parent is already in Turkey on a separate permit; (c) integration into Turkish public or private schools where Turkish is taught as part of the curriculum. For Chinese families with school-age children, the public-school route is often the best, children acquire fluency naturally within 12 to 18 months.

Yes. Our core teachers are native or fluent Mandarin speakers who are also qualified Turkish-language instructors based in Istanbul. This eliminates the explanation gap, grammar nuances are explained directly in Mandarin without translation friction. We also offer pure Turkish-immersion classes (no Mandarin) for advanced students who want to break the English-bridge habit. Both formats are available 1-on-1 online or in our Istanbul classroom.
