China–Turkey cross-border coordination
China and Turkey differ in procedure, language and paperwork, and a document that is accepted at home can be rejected in Turkey. Turchina Group is a general advisory brand, not a law firm, and it does not give legal advice. We run the cross-border logistics: we explain Turkish procedures, timelines and document requirements in Mandarin, sequence notarisation, apostille and sworn translation, keep the Chinese, English and Turkish versions of every document aligned, and, where a matter needs one, connect you with independent Turkish or Chinese lawyers, notaries and chartered accountants whom you engage directly. Any professional opinion comes to you straight from that licensed professional.

What we do
- ▸Cross-border document workflow: the order and place of notarisation, apostille and sworn translation
- ▸Version control across Chinese, English and Turkish documents, with key terms explained in Mandarin
- ▸Power-of-attorney (vekaletname) coordination so you can complete Turkish formalities remotely
- ▸One timeline for parallel matters: residence, property, company and inheritance
- ▸Appointments, filing visits and status follow-up with Turkish offices
- ▸Introductions to independent licensed professionals (lawyers, notaries, accountants, valuers) whom you engage directly
Outcomes you can expect
- ▸Documents done right the first time, with fewer rejected filings between the two countries
- ▸Who does each step, when, and at what cost, set out in writing up front
- ▸The right independent licensed professional found quickly when you need an opinion
- ▸Mandarin communication throughout, with one coordinator for every parallel matter

FAQ
China–Turkey cross-border coordination: what clients ask
What does the cross-border coordination service cover?
Practical, non-legal coordination for matters that touch both China (including Hong Kong and Macau) and Turkey: (1) working out which documents each office needs and in what order; (2) sequencing notarisation, apostille and sworn Turkish translation; (3) keeping the Chinese, English and Turkish versions of each document aligned; (4) arranging powers of attorney so you can act remotely; (5) booking appointments and following up with Turkish offices; (6) introducing independent licensed professionals (lawyers, notaries, chartered accountants, valuers) when a matter needs one. Turchina Group is a general advisory brand, not a law firm, and does not give legal advice.
Do you give legal advice or represent me?
No. Turchina Group does not give legal advice or legal opinions and does not represent clients before courts, tribunals or authorities. When a matter needs a lawyer, we introduce independent licensed lawyers in Turkey or China. You engage them directly, on their own terms and fees, and their advice comes straight to you. Our part is to make that work run smoothly: briefings in Mandarin, document logistics and timelines.
How do I make a Chinese document usable in Turkey?
Usually in three steps: (1) obtain the official certificate or have the document notarised where it was issued; (2) obtain an apostille. Mainland China has applied the Hague Apostille Convention since 7 November 2023, and Hong Kong and Macau have applied it for decades, so consular legalisation is generally no longer needed for documents from these places; (3) have the document translated into Turkish by a sworn translator in Turkey and the translation notarised. Some offices add their own requirements, so we confirm the exact checklist with the receiving office before you start.
Can I complete Turkish formalities without travelling to Turkey?
Often, yes, through a power of attorney (vekaletname). It can be signed at a Turkish notary while you are in Turkey, at a Turkish consulate abroad, or before a local notary and then apostilled and translated. Keep the scope narrow and bilingual so you know exactly what the attorney-in-fact may sign. Some steps, such as bank identity checks or biometric appointments, still require you in person.
How are the fees structured?
Coordination is quoted as a fixed fee per matter, in writing, before work starts. Official fees, notary and translation costs are passed through at cost against receipts. The fees of any independent lawyer, accountant or valuer are agreed directly between you and that professional, and we take no referral commission.
Which matters do clients bring to this service most often?
Powers of attorney for buying or selling Turkish property remotely; birth, marriage and no-criminal-record certificates for residence or citizenship files; parent-company documents for a Turkish subsidiary; documents for family members in China inheriting Turkish property; and driving-licence exchange. For each, we prepare a step-by-step checklist showing who issues what, where, and how long it takes.
