Burak Unal

Burak Unal is the investment advisor at Turchina Group. His job is to make sure that when a Chinese client puts money into Turkey, whether that is a Beşiktaş apartment, a Turkish company subsidiary, a citizenship-by-investment property, or a trademark portfolio, the decision is grounded in real financial analysis and the transaction is executed correctly under Turkish law.

His academic training is in finance. He completed his MSc in Finance at the London School of Economics and Political Science, one of the world's leading finance programs, after his BSc in Business Management at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, generally regarded as Turkey's most competitive university. This combination gives him the analytical vocabulary used in international investment banking together with a deep working knowledge of the Turkish commercial context.

Alongside his advisory role, Burak holds two Turkish professional licences that are directly useful to clients. He is a licensed Turkish real-estate broker (Emlak Danışmanı, yetki belgesi), meaning he can personally execute brokerage on Chinese-client property acquisitions rather than routing them through a third-party agent. He is also a registered Turkish trademark and patent attorney (Marka ve Patent Vekili), authorised by Turkpatent to file trademark, patent, industrial design, and copyright applications for foreign rights holders.

He works in Turkish, English, and Mandarin (working proficiency). Clients from Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, and Singapore have engaged him directly for CBI, real-estate acquisitions, and Turkish brand protection since he joined Turchina.
