Yiman Liu

Yiman Liu founded Turchina Group in 2025 after several years of on-the-ground work in Turkey advising Chinese companies and families. Her professional path began at Southwest University of Political Science and Law in Chongqing, one of the top-five law schools in mainland China, where she completed both her LLB and LLM. She started her career at international law firms and inside major Chinese corporates working on cross-border investment matters.

Her move to Istanbul was deliberate. She recognised that Chinese HNW families and mid-market companies exploring Turkey were repeatedly running into the same problem: fluent Chinese sales agents in Istanbul with no real legal or professional depth on one side, and skilled Turkish lawyers with no way of communicating in Mandarin on the other. Neither side could hold a full engagement together. Turchina was built to be that missing bilingual coordination layer.

Today Yiman leads Turchina's client relationships end-to-end. She personally handles the initial consultation, the strategy design, and the ongoing project management for every mandate. Her Chinese legal training gives her the vocabulary and the instinct to know which questions Chinese authorities will ask, which documents Chinese banks will demand, and which family or estate considerations sit under every seemingly simple transaction. In Turkey, she coordinates directly with independent Turkish lawyers, notaries, chartered accountants, and licensed appraisers, so the client interface stays clean and bilingual from beginning to end.

She is a native Mandarin speaker with professional English. Chinese clients frequently describe her as the reason they trusted the Turkish leg of their family plan.
